YSU PT Program Continues to Grow
The Youngstown State Doctor of Physical Therapy Program looks to develop students into professionals and better people.
Since beginning in 2008, the program has seen an increase in students and university support. And the projected vacancies in the field will call for more physical therapists in the near future.
“At the end of the day, when you go to a job, that license to practice is the ticket. It’s what you do in the aftermath,” says Dr. Cara Berg-Carramusa, an assistant professor and clinical education coordinator for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
