YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A team of four students from the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University claimed a bronze medal this month at the 2023 Global Scaling Challenge.

“It truly was amazing to see the work that our team put in as it led to us securing the bronze medal and cash prize in the competition,” says senior Christian Febinger, who is majoring in Finance. “Putting YSU in the conversation with universities all around the globe in terms of technological innovation was a great honor.”

Global Scaling Challenge is organized by The Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico and offers participating teams an opportunity to understand and solve complex scaling needs and challenges that entrepreneurial firms face.

Thirty-five teams from eight countries (United States, South Korea, Austria, India, UK, Finland, France, and Peru) competed in the competition.
