YSU Students Seek Employment Opportunities Early and Often

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown State University College of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics hosted its Spring Expo in Stambaugh Stadium on Thursday.

More than 100 companies attended the event, and approximately 500 students sought out internship and employment opportunities.

“We have companies here that will hire for interns and co-ops – their first summer after their freshman year,” said Sherri Hrusovski, executive director of the YSU College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. “We start early on and just get the students aware of what opportunities are out there.”
