YSU Team Makes Social Media Semifinals

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A team of Youngstown State University students have qualified as semifinalists in a social media contest hosted by Ball State University’s Center for Advancement of Digital Marketing & Analytics.

The next round will take place March 24 and 25 in Muncie, Ind.

The four students – Caleb Anderson, Leila Farhan, Billy Heath and Fierra Hueston – are all students in YSU’s Williamson College of Business Administration and members of professional sales and marketing fraternity Pi Sigma Epsilon.

Ball State’s competition has students develop a strategic social media campaign and rebranding plan for an existing business-to-business company.

College students from around the country participate in the competition.
