YSU to Host Three Accounting Seminars

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University will host three continuing education seminars for the accounting field. The day-long seminars will be held Aug. 19, Sept. 16 and Nov. 17, and focus on government and nonprofits, accounting and auditing, and tax updates, respectively.

The first, government and nonprofits, will provide information on accounting and auditing developments for the two groups, as well as changes to Government Auditing Standards book. The second seminar will focus on regulations, exposure drafts and compliation arenas, while the final seminar is “a fast-paced one-day course” with emphasis on “real-world implications” of recent changes.

All seminars will are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Williamson Hall. Registration can be done at YSU.edu/wcba.
