YSU to Offer Real Estate Licensure Classes

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Individuals who wish to obtain licensure as an Ohio Real Estate Salesperson will have the opportunity to begin coursework on Jan. 8 in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University.

The successful completion of four courses: Real Estate Law, Real Estate Principles & Practices, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Appraisal is required to take the Ohio licensure examination.

All classes are offered from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Williamson Hall.

Early registration will ensures a spot in the course. An annual schedule of real estate classes and online registration along with additional information are available at YSU.edu/wcba.

Listed is the current schedule of real estate classes for 2018:

Real Estate Law: Mondays and Wednesdays (10 sessions) for $305:

  • Jan. 8 through Feb. 12 (No class on Jan. 15)
  • March 19 through April 18
  • May 30 through July 2
  • Sept. 24 through Oct. 24

Real Estate Principles & Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays (10 sessions) for $305:

  • Jan.9 through Feb. 8
  • March 20 through April 19
  • May 29 through June 28
  • Sept. 25 through Oct. 25

Real Estate Appraisal: Mondays and Wednesdays(5 sessions) for $205:

  • Feb.19 through March 5
  • April 30 through May 14
  • July 16 through 30
  • Nov.5 through 19

Real Estate Finance: Tuesdays and Thursdays (5 sessions) for $205:

  • Feb. 20 through March 6
  • May 1 through 15
  • July 17 through 31
  • Nov. 6 through 20
