YWCA Receives $10,000 Donation from Chemical Bank
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The YWCA of Youngstown has received a $10,000 grant from Chemical Bank for its newest five-unit housing project — the Kensington Liberation Station — on Kensington Avenue.
The housing project provides affordable housing in low- to moderate income families and veteran families at risk of homelessness.
“We are excited to support the YWCA’s newest housing project,” stated Mark Wenick, regional president of the Mahoning Valley Chemical Bank, in a news release.
“Chemical Bank is dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve. The Kensington Liberation Station will assist residents in need right here in our caring community.”
