$20K Matching Challenge Will Benefit Rescue Mission
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Chuck and Jen Lehotsky of Chuck’s Greenhouses in North Jackson are offering a $20,000 matching challenge to benefit the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley if an additional $20,000 is raised in May.
“This is such a wonderful blessing. When a donation of $20 can become $40 with the matching offer, it really helps the mission’s budget as we enter the summer season,” said John Muckridge III, CEO of the rescue mission. “Participating in this challenge is a great way to extend love and care to those who are struggling and seeking food and emergency overnight shelter at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. We are grateful for every gift.”
Reaching the goal will allow the rescue mission to continue providing essential services – such as meals, emergency assistance and shelter – and share the Gospel through its Biblical Counseling and Chapel services, a news release states.
“We are deeply thankful for the generosity of Chuck’s Greenhouses and all our partners who support the mission,” Muckridge said. “The matching challenge allows us to magnify the impact of each gift and welcome new supporters.”
Donations for the matching challenge can be made HERE or mailed to PO Box 298, Youngstown, OH 44510.
