3 YSU Students Win Prizes at Beta Gamma Sigma Summit
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Three members of the Youngstown State University’s chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma took home top prizes at the honor society’s Global Leadership Summit.
On teams that won their case categories were Brooke Lissy, an advertising and public relations major from Windham; Amanda Painter, a human resources management major from Austintown; and Kelli Dougherty, a finance major from Cleveland.
Dougherty’s team was declared the overall case competition winner.
In all, 12 YSU students attended the conference.
The Global Leadership Summit brings nearly 400 members of Beta Gamma Sigma, an academic honor society with more than 540 chapters at business schools nationwide.
The Youngstown State chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma was founded in 2000 and has inducted 871 members.
