7th Annual Nun Run to Be a Hybrid Event
CANFIELD, Ohio — The 7th annual Ursuline Sisters HIV/AIDS Ministry and Ursuline Preschool & Kindergarten Nun Run 5k, 1-mile walk and kids run will be held in October as a hybrid event, with in-person and virtual options.
The in-person event takes place Oct. 2 at the Ursuline Center at 4280 Shields Road. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., with the kids run taking place at 8:15 a.m., followed by the one-mile walk at 8:30 a.m. and 5k at 9 a.m. Entry fee is $25 to register early, and $30 the day of the race. Registrations must be in by Sept. 15 to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Click HERE to sign up.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age group winners. A cash prize is given tot he man and woman who can set a new record on the 5k course.
The virtual event runs from Oct. 2 to 16 and can be completed anywhere in the world. Virtual participants receive a T-shirt, finisher medal and other gifts. Entry fee is $25.
Proceeds from the event benefit the children served by the ministry and school. Participants can also sign up to run in honor of an Ursuline Sister.
