Ticket Sales Begin April 4 for ADI’s Chicago Service
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Tickets will go on sale April 4 for the first flights by Aerodynamics Inc. to Chicago O’Hare International Airport from the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Vienna Township.
The sales will begin 65 days in advance of the flight launch May 30, Dan Dickten, director of aviation for the regional airport, said in an email.
The Chicago flights will connect the Mahoning Valley to more than 130 one-stop domestic and international destinations served by American Airlines and United Airlines.
An event officially announcing the new service now is scheduled for March 29. It previously was scheduled for Thursday.
Proving flights will begin April 18.
The flights represent the first daily scheduled service at the airport since the last daily service carrier – Northwest Airlines’ flights to Detroit – ceased operating from the airport in 2002.
Allegiant Air, a low-frequency leisure airline has operated at the airport since 2006 and provides service to Orlando, St. Petersburg-Clearwater, and Punta Gorda (Ft. Meyers) in Florida and to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
