ODNR Survey to Guide Future Park Improvements
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Outdoor enthusiasts in Ohio are being asked to weigh in on what activities they enjoy and what they would like to see more of in their public parks.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is conducting a statewide survey, which it will use to contribute to the State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreational Plan.
Whether a family enjoys pickleball, kayaking, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting or swimming, the SCORP plan will help the state look at usage trends and develop priorities for future recreational development and expansion. The information from the survey may serve as a reference point for the distribution of future federal and state grants toward public park facilities across Ohio, from Lake Erie to the local community.
The survey can be found here, and the deadline closes Jan. 31.
