Ohio Sets Record for February New Business Filings
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced another strong month for new business growth in the state.
LaRose announced Thursday there were 16,065 new business filings in February, which is the highest number of February new business filings in state history.
The previous high of 16,025 new business filings was set in February 2021, the year Ohio surpassed the annual filing record with 197,010 new filings.
There were 14,488 new business filings in February 2022.
“My vision for Ohio is one where every entrepreneur with a good idea can make their dream come true,” LaRose said. “We are strengthening that climate in our state, and job creators are responding in record numbers month after month.”
