DiGennaro Chosen to Head Western Reserve Council
BOARDMAN, Ohio — Rocky DiGennaro, Tony DiTommaso and Carlton Ingram took office Monday as the new leaders of the Western Reserve Building & Construction Trades Council, which represents nearly 8,000 skilled tradesmen in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
DiGennaro, business agent for Local 125 of the Laborers International union, succeeds Don Crane of the millwrights and piledrivers union as president.
DiTomasso, president of Local 171 of the Carpenters & Joiners union, succeeds Jim Burgham of the IBEW as secretary-treasurer. And Carlton Ingram, business agent for Local 66 of the Operating Engineers union, succeeds Butch Taylor of the Plumber & Pipefitters union as vice president.
The Western Reserve council is a collection of 21 locals who represent men and women with skills such as sheetmetal working, structural iron working, plumbing, pipefitting and boilermaking, laying brick, carpentry, pile driving and painting. Other members are Teamsters, operating engineers, electricians, laborers, glaziers, plasters and cement masons, roofers, heat and frost insulators and elevators constructors.
