Workshop Scheduled in Warren for Local Contractors

WARREN, Ohio – A contractor workshop will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Brite Energy Innovators, 125 W. Market St.

The free workshop, hosted by 717 Credit Union in partnership with Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, the Youngstown Business Incubator, the Minority Business Assistance Center and the Trumbull County Land Bank, will provide information for contractors interested in home improvement and lead remediation services.

TNP recently received a grant and is seeking contractors to assist with housing renovations and lead remediation projects. Businesses that want to participate must first become certified to be added to the official contractor pool. During the workshop, attendees will be guided through the certification process and receive information on job opportunities that could benefit their businesses.
