Rescue Mission Scarecrow Contest Accepting Entries
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley is hosting its second annual Scare Away the Hunger scarecrow decorating contest in conjunction with White House Fruit Farm.
The cost to enter a scarecrow in the contest is $10. Entries can be dropped off at White House Fruit Farm Oct. 2-4. Visitors to can vote on their favorites Oct. 8-21 by purchasing $1 tickets and casting votes in buckets at each entry.
All proceeds from the contest will go to the Rescue Mission. The contest winner will receive cider and doughnuts.
