Ohio Pain & Rehab Adds Brain Injury Services
WARREN, Ohio – Ohio Pain & Rehabilitation has partnered with Hope Neurological & Medical Services to offer brain injury diagnostic and treatment services,
Ohio Pain & Rehabilitation, a chiropractic and physical therapy practice in Warren, will use videonystagmography testing – a process that uses infrared goggles to trace eye movements during visual and positional changes – couple with proprietary software to detect traumatic brain injuries, lesions, balance disorders, cognitive dysfunctions, vestibular dysfunction and vertigo. The test takes about half an hour and involves cognitive, ocular and balance checks.
“Our partnership with Hope Neurological & Medical Services will help us to determine the proper treatment methods for automotive accident patients and help us to diagnose TBI cases as well as other underlying conditions,” said Dr. Chris Efthimiou, owner of Ohio Pain & Rehabilitation Center, in a statement. “This new form of testing and partnership is another way that Ohio Pain & Rehabilitation ensures that our patients receive proper diagnosis and the best care possible at our office.”
The practice employs medical doctors, spine and extremity surgeons, chiropractic physicians, physical therapists, exercise physiologists and massage therapists to offer several treatment options for patients.
