A to Z Invests in Tech, Excavation Equipment

NILES – In 2019 A to Z Dependable Solutions invested in excavation equipment, service vans and a pipe-relining method that is an alternative to traditional digging. The additions set the foundation for the expansion of the company’s headquarters, hiring new employees and adding services, says CEO Brian Pritchard. Revenue increased 26%.  

The company offers plumbing and drain work and recently expanded into HVAC service and bathroom remodeling. It added a service manager and field service manager, as well as a human resources manager and eight apprentices. 

New technology brings better results for customers, Pritchard says. Sewer cameras produce clearer images, drain-clearing equipment is more effective and the new method of pipe relining avoids tearing up yards.  

“These one-time solutions are becoming the norm,” Pritchard says. “Customers ask how we can fix problems so they never have to deal with them again. Now, we have multiple solutions, some of which include lifetime warranties.” 

A to Z, in its 60th year, employs 40.
