Advantage Video Sees 50% Sales Growth
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Advantage Video Production & Marketing is celebrating 30 years of business this year and has a lot to show for it, says Chris Jaskiewicz, president.
Advantage has completed over 500 videos and tripled its customer base, he reports, and revenue increased 50% from 2018 to 2019.
“Numbers like these aren’t just produced from solid networking, but from a genuine desire to make clients’ lives better; a sentiment at the very heart of Advantage,” Jaskiewicz says.
This desire to give instead of get is one major part of Advantage’s strategy to promote brain gain. “The Advantage office is a creative space full of creative people who enjoy working together and genuinely want to give back to the community they work within,” Jaskiewicz says.
Advantage was founded in 1989 and employs 11. Jaskiewicz purchased the company in 2017. Today it serves a variety of clients that require anything from television commercials and graphic design to social media management and branding.
“Technology is ever-changing, and Advantage must constantly adapt with that change,” Jaskiewicz says.
On the video side of things, the team updates software and technology as needed to stay ahead of the curve in production footage. For the marketing team, this means understanding the ebb and flow of social media and taking advantage of new platforms.
Changes in 2019 included the addition of platforms such as TikTok to social media management and the creation of a Facebook group called Make It. Youngstown.
Five employees were hired: Matt Milligan for video editing and project management, Samantha Ensminger for copywriting, Lucas Garland for business development, Zach Feydo for video production and shoots and Maccy Taylor for video editing.
Looking forward, Advantage hopes to further strengthen its mission to “give back and bring positivity and creativity to the Valley,” Jaskiewicz says. “The goal is to create a strong business development portion of the company and branch out further into national clients.”
