Agenda Set for Lawrence County Women’s Conference

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The ninth annual Lawrence County Women’s Conference, to be held Sat., March 12, at Westminster College, has completed its agenda.

Registration, networking, and shopping begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m.

Beth Caldwell, founder of Pittsburgh Professional Women and Leadership Academy for Women and an author, is the keynote speaker.

Michele Goodman-Jones will offers fashion and etiquette updates.

Angie Urban, director of New Visions, will provide opportunities to volunteer in the community and contact information for people looking to do so in Lawrence County.

Beth Verterano, financial adviser and the first female county commissioner of Lawrence County, will speak on “Women Emerging into Politics.”

Anne Flemming, owner of Women-CarBuyers.com, will speak on female certified car dealerships. Topics include how to shop for a car, scheduling maintenance, and statistics on car purchases.

The panel discussion, “Life Variables for Women,” will be led by Simonae Lyles of Williams-Cleaveland Company.  The panel will consist of Janice Hasson of Penn State Extension office, Christy Verenski, Diversified Advisors — Investment Consultant, Anita McKeever, First Merit Mortgage and representing Lawrence County Builders Association, and attorney LeeAnn Fulena.
