Aim Hosts Driver Appreciation Picnics Sept. 14
GIRARD, Ohio – As part of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Aim Transportation Solutions will host a family picnic for its drivers Sept. 14 at the company headquarters on Belmont Avenue.
The picnic, held noon to 4 p.m., will include a cookout, hourly drawings for gift cards and activities for kids. To close the event, Aim will raffle off a new Polaris Sportsman 450 ATV.
“I’d like to think that every week is driver appreciation week at Aim,” said Aim Integrated Logistics chief operating officer David Gurska in announcing the event. “These picnics are one of the many efforts Aim has to express our deepest gratitude for the tireless work and dedication of truck drivers.
For truck drivers looking for work, Aim will also have recruiters at the picnic, as well as at its family picnics in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Gainesville, Ga. the same day.
“It’s no secret that a changing economic landscape has hit the Youngstown region particularly hard over the last few decades. Aim is happy to continue bringing good-paying driving jobs with great benefits to the area,” Gurska says. “This event will be the perfect opportunity to meet one-on-one recruiters, and driver managers to hear about the exciting employment opportunities Aim has to offer.”
