Akron Children’s Relocating Pediatric Office in Liberty

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Akron Children’s Hospital is moving its Liberty Township pediatrics office into a larger space on Belmont Avenue.

The new office, 3530 Belmont Avenue Suite 8, will open for patients Jan. 19.

It will have nine primary care rooms – up from six at the previous site – and a dedicated room for behavioral health services, which will open in February.

“Our larger office will help us expand access to pediatric primary care for patients in Youngstown, Liberty Township and surrounding areas,” said Ben Teske, director of operations for Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics, in a statement. “The addition of behavioral health services will help us meet the growing needs of mental health care in our community.”

The office will be staffed by Dr. Gilda Isabel Mateo and nurse practitioners Dayne Adkins and Nancy Keslar.

Akron Childrens’ pediatric offices offers care for babies, kids and teens, including annual checkups, chronic disease management, immunizations, illness and injure treatments and physicals for sports, school and camps.
