‘American Pickers’ Seek Peek Into Ohio’s Attics

NEW YORK – Do you have vintage bicycles, toys or military items? Do you know someone who does? If you live in Ohio and are willing to part with your treasures, you just might get a visit this summer from American Pickers team Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz.

The two are looking for leads and buried treasures in Ohio. Other items of interest are unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, folk art, early firefighting equipment, vintage musical equipment, automotive items and clothing. The more unusual the better, Wolfe and Fritz say. They love to find things they’ve never seen before and learn the story behind it for their weekly documentary series on the History Channel.

Collections must be privately owned; stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public do not qualify.

If you or anyone you know has a large private collection, call (855) OLD RUST or send your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to [email protected].
