Anderson Coach Wins Industry Spirit Award

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The International Motorcoach Group has named Anderson Coach & Travel the winner of the 2024 Spirit Award.

The busing company previously won the IMG Safety Award in 2016 and was named the IMG Operator of the Year in 2011.

“This is such a team effort, and I am so proud to accept this on everyone’s behalf,” Doug Anderson, president of Anderson Coach, said while accepting the award at the IMG Maintenance and Safety Forum in Raleigh, North Carolina. “The team at this IMG meeting represents the next generation at Anderson, and we appreciate the recognition by IMG.”

The Spirit Award is given to the operator who best reflects the “spirit” of IMG’s philosophies. This includes the sharing of best practices with IMG colleagues, from sales to maintenance and safety, as well as demonstrating a leadership role that benefits fellow members within IMG, the motorcoach industry and their community.

“My grandparents established a legacy to continually strive for improvement and excellence,” said Evan Anderson, chief operating officer and vice president of Anderson Coach. “We aim to lead by example, showcasing how tradition and innovation can work hand in hand to set new benchmarks for safety, sustainability and customer satisfaction.”
