ARM Institute CEO to Address VAST May 19

WARREN, Ohio – Jay Douglas, CEO of the Advance Robotics for Manufacturing Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, will speak about the future of robots May 19 when he addresses The Valley Alliance for Science & Technology at the TBEIC Building.

His presentation is “The Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Institute: A Program for Restoring U.S. Manufacturing Competitiveness.”

The luncheon begins at noon. It’s free to members of VAST. Others will pay $25.

The Valley Alliance for Science and Technology describes itself as a member-driven organization created to foster an environment of technology innovation, application and growth in the Mahoning Valley and surrounding area through networking, education and global collaborations among the area’s technology executives and technologists.
