HERMITAGE, Pa. – Reinhardt’s Agency Inc. experienced growth across all lines of business in 2023, both from new business generated and the acquisition of Mehler Insurance Agency in Sharpsville, Pa.
Mehler, founded in 1925, operates as an affiliate of Reinhardt’s, Deanne Koch, Reinhardt’s director of marketing, says.
“The merger of these two historic agencies preserves a local family business presence, while allowing combined resources and merged talent to better serve all clients,” Koch says.
Last fall, Reinhardt’s expanded its product service line to include Medicare sales, added a licensed agent specializing in Medicare and offered clients more options. Reinhardt’s and Mehler specialize in home, auto, business, life, and now Medicare.
This year marks the 120th anniversary of Reinhardt’s. The agency currently operates under fifth-generation ownership. It is owned by Ryan Tyson, who joined Reinhardt’s in 1998 and took the reins in 2007.
