BOARDMAN – Simon Roofing is well into its second century as a family-owned and operated organization.
The company was founded by Alex Simon in 1900 as Simon Roofing and Sheet Metal Co. and is now owned and operated by 11 members of the third and fourth generations of the Simon family.
Experienced managers and vice presidents have been hired to move the company forward and mentor the fourth-generation owners.
In addition to family, another aspect of the company that has remained continuous through the years, according to the family, is the belief in working hard, providing customers with the highest level of service and making safety a top priority.
In its 121 years, Simon Roofing has transformed from a small, local commercial roofing company to a national multifaceted company with 66 service centers and many different products. It remains headquartered in Boardman.
