Women in Business: Kennie Long

After graduating from Herzing University in Akron in 2005, Kennie Long began her banking career in Stow as Universal Banker and within a few years was promoted to Branch Manager. Kennie joined Consumers National Bank in 2016 as the Salem Branch Manager. In 2018, she was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Commercial Deposit Specialist, providing banking services to commercial clients. Kennie’s calling territory includes portions of Consumers Bank’s markets in Carroll, Columbiana, Jefferson, Stark and Mahoning counties. “I work with businesses, nonprofits and public fund entities to customize their deposit product suite and help them bank their way. I like to say, I bring the bank to them” she says.

Consumers Bank’s commitment to making a difference in the community is a perfect environment for this high-energy mother of three. Kennie is active in the Kiwanis Club of Salem, a graduate and Board Member of Leadership Columbiana County, Board Member of the YWCA of Alliance, Secretary of the Lake Township Rotary Club, and represents the bank at the Alliance, Green, Lake Township, and Salem chambers of commerce.
