Austintown Farmers Market Returns June 9

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – The weekly Austintown Farmers Market will begin its summer schedule on June 9 at Austintown Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

The market features several vendors, offering fresh produce, baked goods, soaps and other personal care items, and handmade crafts. Dinners will also be available and curbside pickup is available.

Admission is free. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m.

The event was drive-through last year because of the pandemic, but this year it will be open and patrons can walk in and peruse the goods.

The Farmers Markets will take place every Wednesday through Sept. 1.

There are 15 food and produce vendors at the market, plus eight craft vendors. Activities will include craft making for children, yoga, healthy cooking demonstrations and occasional live music.

The market is seeking to hire a yoga instructor and a children’s crafts instructor. Contact Shannon Lehn, market manager, at [email protected] or 330 349 2503.

Amateur musicians and potential vendors interested in the market can also contact Lehn.
