Beatitude House to Mark 25 Years at May 6 Event

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Beatitude House will mark 25 years of serving women and children at its 17th annual Wine Taste and Auction.

“Larger and jazzie”r than before, according to an annuncement of the event, the wine taste and auction will take place at 6:30 p.m. May 6 at The Embassy in Boardman. Platinum sponsors for the event include Comprehensive Logistics and The Muransky Companies.

Beatitude House provides transitional housing for 12 families in Youngstown, 13 in Warren, and 10 families in Ashtabula. Its permanent supportive housing program provides housing for women with disabilities who need assistance on a long-term basis. This program currently serves 40 families in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

The evening will feature wine tastings by Superior Beverage Group, Tri County Wholesale Distributors and Ohio Wines; appetizers; a full dinner buffet; entertainment; and participation in live, silent, and ticket auctions.

A variety of items will be auctioned off including Disney Park Hopper passes, Pittsburgh Pirates tickets, and signed Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns memorabilia. Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the Wine Taste or in advance for the chance to win a $500 Giant Eagle shopping spree.

An After Party with jazz musician Stan Miller will follow the wine taste and auction at 9 p.m.

Tickets are $75 per person or $600 for a table of 8. Reservations are due by April 25 and can be made by calling the Beatitude House development staff at 330 744 3147, or by visiting the Beatitude House website. To donate an item for the auction, contact the development staff or drop the item off at 238 Tod Lane in Youngstown by April 25.
