Boardman Subaru Donates $5K to Mill Creek MetroParks
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Boardman Subaru on Friday presented a $5,000 donation to Mill Creek MetroParks.
The donation, presented at Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, is part of the Subaru Loves Earth initiative to plant a tree for every vehicle sold in April.
Mill Creek MetroParks’ Keep Mill Creek Green program plants a tree for every $25 donated. The dealership donated $25 – up to $5,000 – for each vehicle sold during the month.
“I grew up in this town, and Mill Creek is just a jewel to have in our city. And we want to continue to keep it that way and to do our part,” said Rob Fellman, owner of Boardman Subaru.
Over the past three years, Boardman Subaru has donated $13,500 to Mill Creek, according to a news release.
