Boardman Subaru Makes Donation to Akron Children’s Hospital
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Boardman Subaru on Wednesday donated 80 blankets, 30 patient care kits and handwritten messages of hope to support cancer patients at Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.
The donation, in partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, was made as part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative.
The donation will help provide physical and emotional support during treatment.
“Donating warm blankets and messages of hope is just one way Boardman Subaru is committed to supporting the health and well-being of the community,” a news release from the dealership states.
“We know how physically and emotionally difficult cancer treatment can be, and we hope that our donations today help to ease those challenges and provide comfort for these courageous members of our community and their families,” said Rob Fellman, owner of Boardman Subaru.
