Broadview Acres Plans Canine Play Areas
LORDSTOWN — Broadview Acres Country Canine Resort plans to add another kennel attendant at its location here, 419 Salt Springs Road, reports owner Carrie DeCesare. Her company also operates a kennel at 231 S. Canfield-Niles Road in Austintown.
The company, founded in 2009, employs six. Growth plans include building new kennels next spring and opening more play areas for dogs. A pet-taxi service to serve customers and their animals will also be put into place, according to DeCesare.
Since Broadview Acres Country Canine Resort opened 10 years ago, it has grown 20% every year, she reports. “in 2019 our doggie day care program expanded by 60%,” DeCesare adds.
“We are always looking for ways to help out with local pet rescues,” she says. “We house, bath and groom whenever we can help while the pets are transitioning between homes or shelters.”
