Brouse McDowell Adds Attorneys
The Brouse McDowell law firm, Canfield, saw revenue growth of 2.6% in 2019 and added three attorneys – Lou Alexander, Brian Coulter and Vito Abruzzino – to its Mahoning Valley office here.
The firm also marked its 100th year in 2019 with a series of events.
Brouse McDowell has 146 employees, including 80 lawyers, across its five offices, which are also in Cleveland, Toledo, Akron and Naples, Fla.
“We will expand upon our growing footprint across all our offices, and particularly our permanent footprint in the Mahoning Valley, where we are adding attorneys and support staff and office space,” says Daniel K. Glessner, managing partner.
“With the additions of Alexander, Coulter and Abruzzino to our existing base of seven attorneys from the original Nadler firm, our Youngstown office continues to flourish.”
The firm is adapting to new regulations in the technology, health-care and energy industries, where clients are turning to outside counsel to help navigate their most complex matters.
And the firm has launched practices in several specialty areas, including environmental law, health-care regulation and compliance, franchising, cybersecurity, trademark, copyright, trade secret law and bond insurance.
The firm launched podcasts in 2019 for health care and insurance recovery. It upgraded its video-conferencing capabilities last year to a high-definition system so that it can serve clients in any location.
