Builders Donates to Toys for Tots, Awards Scholarships
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Builders Association has donated $5,000 to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
The donation, awarded at the association’s Christmas party Dec. 13, will be used by the Marines to purchase toys for kids in need to open on Christmas.
In addition, The Builders also announced last week the recipients of the association’s annual scholarships for students attending Youngstown State University.
Recipients were Nathaniel Thomas, Avery Larkin, Mark Metzger, Haliegh Combs and Gage Michael. All are enrolled in the civil and construction engineering program at YSU.
