Burgan Named YCAR Realtor of the Year

BOARDMAN, Ohio – Patrick Burgan has been named the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors’ Realtor of the Year.

Burgan is the co-owner of Burgan Real Estate, Burgan Friedkin Commercial Real Estate and Market Title Agency, as well as the current president of the association.

“I am extremely flattered and humbled to be recognized as YCAR’s Realtor of the Year, joining so many amazing past recipients who have earned this honor before me, including my father, John Burgan,” he said in a statement. “The path to this recognition has been made possible by hard work done with the right team, the right peers, and the right community that continually looks to make the lives of those we help better.”

Burgan joined the association in 2008 and served on YCAR’s board in 2014 and 2015. He also served on several committees, including budget and finance, installation, investment, leadership retreat, nominating, personnel, professional standards, purchase contract and strategic planning.

Outside the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors, Burgan has served with the Regional MLS, including as alternate director in 2017 and with the MLS User Group. For the state association, he served on the Property Management & Investment Forum in 2018, as the YPN appointment to the Global Business Alliance Committee in 2019 and as chairman of the Local Board Forms committee in 2020.

In the community, he has served on the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and has donated time to Boardman Rotary. He is a director of Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown, a trustee on the YSU Penguin Club Board of Directors and is serving on the board of directors for the Northeast Ohio Adoption Services.
