Burns & Burns Associates Turns 80

CLARION, Pa. – Burns & Burns Associates of Clarion, Pa., is celebrating its 80th anniversary. In that time, the insurance agency has grown to include eight other sites and more than 60 employees.

Staff and several community leaders gathered at Burns & Burns’ New Wilmington office last week to celebrate the insurance agency’s longevity. 

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the support we have received throughout our history from the community and the chamber,” said Alexis Burns, fourth-generation owner, in a statement. “It is an honor to do business in a special place with special people.” 

Citations from U.S. representatives Mike Kelly, R-16, Parke Wentling, R-17 and Chris Sainato, D-9, were presented to Burns & Burns officials by staff members. 

“You don’t survive in business for 80 years without providing great service and taking care of your customers,” said Steve Sant, chairman of the Lawrence County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors. “Burns & Burns has done that well and we look forward to them being a part of our community for more decades to come.”
