Business Journal Program Launches; 11 a.m. Webinar

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – As part of The Business Journal’s Rally Around Small Business campaign, we’re launching a new advocacy program to help small businesses make the most of their advertising and marketing dollars when they re-open and get back to business.

All supporters of the Rally Around Small Business program that buy advertising in our print edition or on BusinessJournalDaily.com will earn marketing credits for use later in the year. The credits can be used for your own advertising or donated to another nonprofit or company.

Free advertising creative design and messaging services are also included in the program.

For all new media placements purchased and run in May, June or July, The Business Journal will give advertisers a 25% credit of that value toward future advertising. For example, if a small business spends $500 each month in May, June and July, it will earn $375 in marketing credits.

The credit is available only to small businesses with fewer than 500 employees. The 25% credit is applied to the rate card value of ads. Credits must be redeemed by Dec. 31.

At 11 a.m. today Youngstown Publishing Co. CEO Jeff Herrmann will host a free webinar detailing the program, as well as best practices for marketing during a crisis and the services available through our Content Studio. Registration is available here.
