Campbell Alumni Association to Induct 8 into Hall of Fame

CAMPBELL, Ohio – The Campbell Memorial Alumni Association is honoring eight alumni for their achievements and contributions, naming them to the 2024 Class of its Hall of Fame.

They will be inducted during the Hall of Fame Honors Banquet on Saturday at the St. Michael Byzantine Church Social Hall. The event will include a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.

The 2024 inductees are:

  • James M. Cioffi: educator, administrator and athletic director; Class of 1956.
  • Ruby D. Hrelec Peltz: educator and co-founder and president of the Campbell Academic Association; Class of 1967.
  • Dr. Michael A. Pikos: oral surgeon, founder and CEO of the Pikos Institute and a scholarship supporter; Class of 1968.
  • Robert J. Kovach: volunteer and scholarship supporter; Class of 1969.
  • Dr. John R. Jakubek: anesthesiologist, former Youngstown State University trustee and a scholarship supporter; Class of 1975.
  • Dr. Michael G. Corfias: anesthesiologist, founding trustee of the Campbell Memorial Alumni Association and a scholarship supporter; Class of 1986.
  • Deland McCullough: athlete, coach, mentor, philanthropist and Super Bowl champion assistant coach; Class of 1991.
  • Peter M. Psaras: NASA lead engineer on the Artemis program; Class of 2006.
