Canfield Courtyard Marriott Earns Awards, Plans Hiring Event

CANFIELD, Ohio – The Courtyard Marriott Youngstown-Canfield has earned two service awards for 2022.

The hotel, owned by CTW Development Corp. and managed by Kennsington Hospitality, received the Diamond Circle Award as one of Marriott International’s highest property-level awards. The Diamond Circle is awarded only to top-performing hotels in the brand that exceed the Marriott benchmark in all areas, including guest satisfaction scores, financials and RevPAR performance.

The hotel has received the Diamond Circle Award for five consecutive years.

“Our team continues to raise the bar consistently each year to achieve this recognition,” said Cody Wyatt, vice president of operations for Kennsington Hospitality. “I am proud of their dedication and how they strive to find new ways to improve the guest experience here at The Courtyard.”

The hotel also received a Guest Service Satisfaction Award in Food and Beverage for the second consecutive year. The GSS Awards are given to the hotel with the highest score in each category.

CTW Development is nearing completion of the new Towneplace and Springhill Suites. The extended stay Marriott suites will be located in the Westford Lifestyle Community, in between the Westford Commons retail space on U.S. Route 224 and Kennsington Golf Course.

To help staff the Towneplace and Springhill Suites, The Courtyard Marriott will host a hiring event from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Westford Room at the hotel, 4173 Westford Place. All hourly positions are available, including housekeeping, front desk, breakfast host, night audit, maintenance, bartender and laundry.
