Carnegie Science Center Leads Fab Lab Training
SHARON, Pa. – A series of Valley Fab Lab training sessions led by the Carnegie Science Center continued Monday with a training on 3D printing.
It was the second day of the series, which began March 5 with a class on vinyl and laser. Additional classes include CNC routing on March 17 and a small group session on Training the Trainer on March 30. A group of 16 people are attending the sessions led by special trainers by the Carnegie Science Center.
Sessions are held at the Sharon location of the Laurel Technical Institute at 200 Sterling Ave. The trainings were made possible by a $100,000 Creative Communities grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce as part of its Shenango Valley Community Connections Collaborative, or SVC3.
