WARREN, Ohio – Coleman Health Services is an ever changing, private, nonprofit organization that serves those with mental health and addiction issues. Coleman has been in business since 1978 and employs about 800.
The organization provides opportunities for employees to grow within their practice or to look at other areas of the business that may also be a good fit. Coleman provides flexible schedules, the opportunity to work remotely, generous paid time off and holidays, and competitive salaries.
Over the last three years, Coleman staff members have been involved with semi-annual Gallup surveys to determine employee engagement. Managers are expected to develop annual plans to improve staff engagement based on the responses.
Coleman Health Services is very focused on retention of staff and is using “stay” questions to have active conversations with existing staff and a proactive method of retaining them. Coleman provides a family friendly environment and supports flexible work schedules in order for staff to attend family events.
Coleman also provides a tremendous amount of training to the staff, focuses on clinical best practices and works toward cutting edge improvements for clinicians related to efficiencies and sound clinical documentation.
