Staff, Families Valued at STG Communication Services

COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Instead of a typical corporate Christmas party, STG’s 2021 holiday bash involved families, too.

Festivities included a photo booth, an ugly sweater contest, an impressive Chinese raffle, a deejay and photos with Santa. Santa arrived with presents for all the children in attendance based on each child’s particular interests. 

The leadership team at STG Communication Services did not want to take parents away from their families for the night, especially since many of our field personnel travel for work. And the night was a hit with every guest.

This is just one example of how STG understands, respects, and appreciates its employees. We are granted flexibility in our schedules as much as possible. The leadership team understands that employees have families and other important personal commitments that require our attention. 

We can bring our children into the office when needed and work from home when possible. When we need time off for vacation or any other reason, our requests are never denied no matter how late the notice.

At the same time, we are empowered and encouraged to achieve our goals. STG employs a certified life coach, Dena DeLuco, who is accessible to all team members at no cost. Dena is available to work with us on both professional and personal ambitions to help us achieve the life we want.

To foster an environment of teamwork and appreciation, the STG Grit program gives employees the opportunity to recognize one another for going above and beyond at work. Team members can submit a nomination at any time. Nominees are recognized by the leadership team and receive Grit-branded shirts and other prizes for subsequent nominations.
