Color Run Returns to Youngstown June 11
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Color Run 5k race will return to Youngstown June 11. The race begins at 8 a.m. at The Covelli Centre.
This year’s theme is the Tropicolor World Tour, “combining the enjoyment of a 5k with all the fun leisure of an island-style vacation full of unforgettable memories, music and colors,” organizers say.
The Color Run will partner with Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley Hospital to host the race.
“We are excited to share The Color Run Tropicolor World Tour with our runners and can’t wait to bring this event to cities across the world” said Travis Snyder, founder of The Color Run, in a statement. “We hope that all our Color Runners will be able to step into paradise with us and enjoy a 5k vacation that only The Color Run can create.”
This year is the fifth anniversary of The Color Run, he added.
