Covelli Centre Hosts Beerfest Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Beerfest returns to the Covelli Centre Saturday a third year with proceeds to benefit the Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University.

The beerfest features a VIP session from noon to 2 p.m. and a general session from 2 to 6 p.m.

New this year is a closing concert that features 20 Ride, a Zak Brown tribute band. Ticket prices are $55 per person for VIP, $35 per person for general admission, which includes entrance to concert, and $10 each for designated drivers and concert-only tickets.

VIP admission offers beer lovers a chance to taste the products of 18 breweries, Ohio wines, live entertainment, and a special glass. Limited VIP exclusive offers cask ales from Fat Head and Great Lakes Brewery Dog Fish Head. Randall demonstrations and tastings will be offered as well.

General admission includes a chance to taste from seven to eight beers from 18 breweries, wines from Ohio and live entertainment.
