Dairy Queen Offering Free Cones to Benefit Akron Children’s
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Dairy Queens throughout the Mahoning Valley will be offering free ice cream cones March 20 as part of a fundraiser for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.
Participating stores in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, as well as in Mercer County, Pa., will offer customers a free cone and invite them to make a donation to the hospital.
“This promotion has been very successful in past years, and we hope to see the community’s generosity in supporting children of the Valley,” said JoAnn Stock, senior director of development for Akron Children’s Hospital.
Last year, area Dairy Queens raised more than $39,000 for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley through various fundraising efforts.
