Easterseals to Add Adult Respite Care
YOUNGSTOWN – Easterseals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties will add an adult respite care program this year and expand its “to the door” transportation to include seniors living in Trumbull County, reports Cheryl Lloyd, community relations manager.
The local Easterseals chapter was formed in 1951. Last year, the national organization celebrated its centennial. “This year we will once again re-evaluate the needs of the community to ensure the services we have in place to support those needs,” Lloyd says.
The agency provides physical, aquatic, speech and occupational therapies, adult day and respite care, transportation, and skills development for individuals with disabilities.
