Eastwood Complex to Add HomeGoods, Longhorn, Carter’s and King Cajun
NILES, Ohio – A variety of new stores and restaurants, including a HomeGoods and a Longhorn Steakhouse, are coming to the Eastwood Mall Complex.
Construction has begun on the HomeGoods store along the Mines Road section of the retail complex that flanks the mall. The 22,112-square-foot store next to Levin Furniture will open in the summer of 2023, according to a news release from Cafaro Co., which owns and operates Eastwood.
HomeGoods will offer home fashions from around the world, including furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, tabletop items and cookware.
Longhorn Steakhouse will soon begin construction of a restaurant at the corner of state Route 46 and Eastwood Boulevard. The one-acre parcel was formerly occupied by an IHOP restaurant. Longhorn is expected to open in February.
Also coming to the mall complex is a Carter’s store, which will be located in a 2,626-square-foot space between Burlington and TJMaxx. Carter’s is a leading brand of children’s clothing. The store will be open by Thanksgiving.
King Cajun Seafood & Bar is preparing to open next month in a stand-alone location near Outback Steakhouse and Steak ‘n Shake. The 9,637-square-foot building was the previous home of another restaurant. The space has been completely renovated, according to the news release, creating new dining rooms and a full bar. King Cajun’s menu is inspired by the cuisine of New Orleans and the Low Country.
Cafaro Co. is also in discussions with three other restaurant operators, according to the news release, which did not specify the companies.
In late July, Venetia Nail Lounge & Spa will open in the Great East Plaza section of the Eastwood complex. The salon will provide a full range of manicure, pedicure and other beauty treatments in a 4,000-square-foot space next to Buffalo Wild Wings.
Shortly thereafter, NrGize Lifestyle Café will open in the JCPenney concourse of Eastwood Mall. The new, 975-square-foot shop will combine two popular beverage concepts under one roof: Kahala coffee and NrGize smoothies
Just around the corner, in the Boscov’s concourse, Aimpoint Airsoft has already opened. Shoppers can test their marksmanship at the practice range, using Airsoft guns that shoot soft pellets.
