Examining Youngstown Event to Highlight Innovation
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A Sept. 27 event will highlight the innovations made in the Mahoning Valley through advanced manufacturing and economic development investments.
The Washington Examiner, Youngstown State University and Youngstown Business Incubator will co-host Examining Youngstown: Innovation Through Advanced Manufacturing.
The morning-long event, which will be held from 7:30 a.m. to noon at Youngstown State University’s Williamson Hall, will feature three panel discussions with local government officials, university staff, and industry experts.
The panels will focus on Youngstown’s economic revival through innovations in advanced manufacturing, 3D printing, YSU and YBI’s investment in curriculum and business growth, investments in infrastructure, and more.
Announced guests include YSU President Jim Tressel, YBI CEO Barbara Ewing, Vallourec Star CEO Judson Wallace and Youngstown Mayor Tito Brown.
