CANFIELD, Ohio – For 898 Marketing, eight team members pitched why they have the best place to work.

I think it is a great place to work because each and every person is put in a position to not just do a job but be a difference maker, and they believe they are,” says Jeff Ryznar, president.

“This is exemplified in the work we produce, the way we accept, help and treat one another, it is found in how we volunteer and it is demonstrated by each and every person’s character. It’s a great place to work because it doesn’t feel like work… it feels like a responsibility and a privilege to perform the skills we are good at next to other people who share the same vision: to make a difference for our clients. For me, I love being with everyone and seeing how they smile everyday.”

Here are what seven company employees had to say:

Ryan Peplowski, Digital Marketing Manager – The flexibility that’s offered makes having a work life balance great. Everyone is friendly and respectful as we all strive to be the best that we can.

Bill Rusu, Content Marketing Manager – Respect from their employer and coworkers is what people are really looking for, and that’s the area 898 excels at. 898 respects the people that make up this team. Our creativity, our knowledge and experience, our family lives… these are all held with reverence and respect by Jeff and the culture of 898 and that ultimately is why this is a great place to work.

Kelly Fertig, Media Relations Manager – There are a lot of reasons 898 Marketing is a great place to work, but for me, the biggest is probably the focus on work-life balance. There’s nothing more appealing than being able to take care of family obligations and other things as they come up without it being an issue.

Zach Patton, Assistant Account Manager – Our open concept allows for constant collaboration and conversions, which is really what makes our company so special.

Michael Francisco, Digital Account Coordinator – I love to work at 898 because I have the confidence that I am going into an environment of trust.

Maddie Abrigg, Graphic Designer – From the work environment, employee benefits (location flexibility, paid vacation days, food and gas assistance), and company culture, people are taken back at how much the company cares for its employees and our extremely high employee retention rate.

Matt Daprile, Digital Account Coordinator – The way the company appreciates each employee is something you don’t see all the time in the professional world. 898 does a great job of making each employee feel like they matter (because they do).
